Rough Cut #4

I edited together a 10 second clip for this video and I realized it was too short. So for the second half of the video, I use the same footage but with a twist.

Rough Cut #3

I wanted to play around with the editing features of iMovie so i used one feature to get the feel like you're looking at a fly's point of view. Than all of a sudden, you're back with a moment of zen.

Silent Rough Cut #2

Again, I wanted to have a view point from someone that would just be walking through the city. You see foot steps and cars but than you take a wrong direction and you end up getting lost. The only answer is in the moon.

Silent Rough Cut #1

For this video, I wanted to try to have a view point of a drunk person walking through the city. Everything is blurry, you don't know where you are, and you end up hurting yourself in the end. Enjoy.

Production Strategy

My main strategy for this drift was to capture blurry images of light. I didn't want to keep the camera steady and I wanted to see the beautiful light move from side to side. I focused on taking pictures of light sources which includes cars, buses, Christmas decorations, and light posts. I started at the dorms like I did in Drift 1, but instead of randomly walking around, I used my memory to try and walk the same route. I know we were suppose to walk in a different area, but part of my questions that I used for this drift involved me going to the same area and seeing if the sound was different. For this drift, I walked longer for both my sound and image walk. I will limit my image capturing activities to only pictures of signs and blurry objects. Nothing else. Hopefully the end result will be something new and visually exciting.
